Ben Owen is a singer/songwriter from Stone, Staffordshire in the Midlands.

He released his first EP titled 'This Is My Life' in 2011.

Since finding his direction in music, Ben has played gigs local and further afield. Ben has been a regular face at The Sugarmill in Stoke over the last few months, supporting Sheffield based band The Crookes and having slots in the acoustic showcase events. Ben played a gig at The Cavern Club in Liverpool back in April.
"To have played The Cavern Club is such an honour, it's a legendary venue. It's definitely something I'll remember forever. Hopefully I can come back again soon!"

It's not only his own music that Ben Owen has been pushing, a young musician himself, Ben has set up a Young Musicians Showcase in his local town Stone to help local talented musicians get their music heard. The showcase was described as a highlight feature to Stone Music Festival 2012.
Ben has formed a strong duo with Folk violinist Robbie Sherratt. Ben and Robbie have performed together at various events such as Leek Folk Festival 2012, Stone Music Festival 2012 and support slots at The Sugarmill in Stoke. Ben collaborated with Robbie in 2011 and Robbie played violin on 3 tracks on Ben's EP 'This Is My Life'. Ben Owen is releasing his new Single titled 'Famous' on 1st October 2012.

All proceeds of 'Famous' will be going to The Donna Louise Children's Trust.
"The Donna Louise Trust is a local charity that I would love to give my support to. This feels like the right thing to do, I'm really happy as a local musician to be able help and raise funds for such a worthy cause."

'Famous' is live on iTunes store from 1st October 2012.
